The following article explains the delivery options you have when it comes to fulfilling orders. BuyItLive enables you to ship orders, have customers pick up their orders, or both.
Shipping
We’ve integrated with 3PL Central and ShipStation to make shipping and order fulfilling a bit easier for you. All shipping is handled outside of BuyItLive, but our integrations will send your BuyItLive orders to their platform automatically for quicker fulfillment. Read this article to learn more about shipping with BuyItLive.
Pick-up
When setting up your sale, you select what delivery options will be available for customers at checkout. These options include shipping, pick-up, or both. Customers who plan to pick-up can select the “pick-up” option so they’re not charged for shipping. If pick-up shoppers also prefer to pay with cash rather than debit or credit card, you can mark their cart as a cash payment.
In-Store Transaction
If you’ve wondered about using BuyItLive with your in-store customers to help keep track of inventory you sell both online and in person, you’re not alone.
Some of our sellers have made this work by using an iPad or other electronic form of payment in their store. This way customers simply check out through your BuyItLive online Storefront. Alternatively, you can manually deduct the items they purchased from your BuyItLive inventory.
How can we add pick up option that remains on website at all times, not just during a sale?
The only other place your customers can shop from besides sales is your Storefront. You can select the pick-up option for your Storefront using the icons on the right hand side while viewing your Storefront as the admin. The top toggle is where you can select to allow pick-up.
